Maxwell's demon: a thermodynamics demon that sorts molecules by speed
Darwinian demon: a demon with perfect evolutionary fitness - reproduces instantly after birth, makes infinite demon babies, requires no resources to sustain itself, outcompetes all life in the universe
Laplace's demon: a demon that knows the current location and momentum of every atom in the universe, and thus has perfect knowledge of the future
Loschmidt's demon: a thermodynamics demon that reverses the arrow of time

Morton's demon: a demon that gatekeeps one's senses and only lets in facts that agree with one's pre-existing beliefs (see confirmation bias)
Demon of bureaucratic chaos: a demon that blocks a bureaucracy from accomplishing good things by sowing chaos such as frequently changing strategic direction
